bad pitch, great buzz . . .

Alexa’s class is the only writing class I’ve ever taken. With her guidance in helping to make my script the best that it can be, I was accepted into one of the Sundance writing fellowships which has been instrumental in jumpstarting my professional career as a writer.
— chelsea gonzalez - blumhouse/sundance fellowship
Alexa is able to not just hone in on story and structure but teach it in a way that it becomes second nature to you.
Caden has a unique talent of being able to help you find your voice and the best way to tell the story you want to tell. His guidance has been vital to my ability to become the storyteller I was to be.
— ANDREA DAVELINE - ACTOR, PRODUCER, WRITER
Alexa knows how to teach the art of storytelling by dissecting process and sharing how to lay the foundation for your script. She saves you hours of rewriting by giving you the tools to thoroughly prep and guides you in finding the most effective way to write your script. Her lab is creative, logical and gives you consistency in your writing journey.
— - Elise Sievert - finalist, sundance episodic
I’ve always had a passion for writing, but was intimidated by screenwriting. Alexa’s lab gave me the tools I needed to make screenwriting accessible and help me find my voice as a writer.
— EMILY MCLEOD - UCLA Professional Program grad

As a fellow writer and actor herself, Alexa deeply believes that collaboration and creativity shouldn’t come at an un-affordable cost, so the price of any class is intentionally kept as low as possible.

Bad Pitch has been instrumental in my growth as a screenwriter. Since then, Bad Pitch has helped me unearth my bliss. Alexa and the “writers’ room” of talented classmates provide invaluable feedback, motivation, and support that have helped me complete numerous scripts. She’s a wealth of knowledge and imparts what she knows in an accessible and relatable way. Thanks to Bad Pitch and Alexa, I’ve been able to win contests, place in fellowships including Stowe Story Labs & The Writers Lab, and become Black List Recommended, which has led to me getting repped. I’m forever grateful!
— LESLEY FERA (rep: bellevue)
In my time with Bad Pitch, my TV specs have made the second round of the Warner Bros. Writers Workshop twice, once each for drama and for comedy.

Bad Pitch has also directly informed my job as a story analyst and metadata manager for Disney Entertainment.
— KRIS MIRANDA
I didn’t know anything when I first started. Alexa broke it all down so fast and so simply, that now it all feels like second nature. Ideas are always encouraged and enhanced and never shot down. I now have pilots and features written, and just wrote and directed my first short film with Alfred Molina.
